The Sturdy construction of our CNC Milling Machines provides a higher torsional resistance than those of most competitors. Our smallest CNC Mill is equipped with 20mm thick, surface-hardened Linear guides with operational dimensions of 400 x 300mm, Z 110 mm traverse path including 5-channel 2.1 A Micro step control, magnetic Reference- and Limit Switches as well as emergency switches on all axes as well as a Software package called WIN PCNC.
Because the frame is made of aluminum, it is also possible to work with an atomized spray cooling (except when using particle boards as clamping surfaces) . Additionally, you can work with bigger working pieces in stronger bench vices. The complete construction is approx. 50% lighter than conventional systems.
Place the Machine firmly on a 4x5 meter PU-sheet and mill out individual letters ........no problem.
3D objects created in a 3D-CAD system are saved/exported as STL-files and subsequently imported into the milling software DeskProto. Tools parameters, feedrate, strategy and accuracy etc. are determined and saved as CNC-file, which our milling software PC-NC or WinPC-NC will use to create your 3D-solid model. Manufactured in Germany this machine complies with all technical requirements according to German and European law (CE-approved).
Precision and the use of high quality material was our priority during the 11-month long development phase. In our preceding investigation, we unfortunately discovered that not every reputable and well-known manufacturer offers high quality and robust machines. ("Super-expensive" does not always means "Super Quality" in this sector!).
With regards to stiffness, construction and therefore long-term precision CNC-Step milling unit is by far superior to the competing products of which some are far more expensive. We focus specially on the storing of the threaded spindles. Those are in X and Y at both sides in grooves and thrust ball bearing so that no power is transferred to the engine camp, which is rather unusual in this price range.
A further "Plus" is the frame construction. Our Z-Kits are specially designed to lift our machines higher off the ground, so that e.g. working pieces can be clamped in strong bench vices for further use. The complete machine can also be placed onto a larger surfaces e.g. on a 1x2x3 meter board to mill out a breakthrough, etc.
We aimed to design a machine with criteria which are important for our customers. Reliability, high quality components as well as stability and cost/performance ratio, basically good value for money.
With 4 different bed sizes, z-axis of 110 mm and a passage height of 100 mm as well as a repeat accuracy of 0,03 mm and a maximum positioning speed and a working speed of 1000 mm/min (High Z S1000) to 1500 mm/min (High Z S-400) the instruments are able to do almost all milling and engraving works in plastics, wood as well as easier chipping in aluminum or brass etc. Of course, these CNC- machines may also be used for blank drilling, insulation milling or even for cutting of plastic films .Another possibility: use a machine for plasma-burn and build a holder for a mobile plasma-burner.
The machine slides are guided in all 3 axes on highly precision 62 Rockwell hardened and ground linear guide ways with a diameter of 20mm ( Z-Axis: 12mm ). This leads to a very high torsional rigidity and even allows milling works in solid aluminum. Threaded spindles are running in ball bearings on both sides, so that no vibration can affect motor mountings and supports 99.9 % of all milling tasks that can be done with material up to a maximum depth of 5mm. It is rarely necessary to use material with thicknesses of 80, 90 or 100mm or more.
